Killer Begins Life Sentence
A man's starting a life sentence for stabbing a young dad to death outside a party in Waterlooville.
29-year-old Sean Bailey from Robin Gardens has been told he'll serve at least 19 years for murdering Simon Wharton.
A court heard he attacked the 27-year-old in a jealous rage when he saw Simon comforting his girlfriend after they'd had a row.
The party took place in Curlew Gardens in Wecock, and was held in April to celebrate Simon's release from prison earlier in the day.
Sean Bailey was found guilty of murder on Friday. Police arrested the 29-year-old at a flat in Havant two days after Simon was stabbed after they made an appeal for help to find him.
