HMS Westminster Home Without Sailor

The warship HMS Westminster has returned home to Portsmouth this morning (Monday 13th August) without missing crewmember Timmy McColl.

Timmy - from Gosport - vanished after a night out in Dubai nearly three months ago.

The crew of HMS Westminster left a space on the deck where he should have been standing when the ship entered Portsmouth Harbour.

Timmy went missing after a night out back in May.

Family and friends paid tribute from the Round Tower as the ship arrived by letting off yellow balloons.
