The annual Goodwood Revival Festival kicks off in Chichester today (Friday 13 September).
145,000 people are expected at the motor circuit over the next three days.
The whole event goes back in time to the Motor Circuit's heyday when it ranked alongside Silverstone as Britain’s leading racing venue, throughout its active years between 1948 and 1966.
Everyone dresses up in costumes from those decades and there are even shops selling food in vintage packaging.
On the track, classic cars will take part in a series of races. Figures from the world of motor racing including Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jack Brabham, David Coulthard, Damon Hill, Gerhard Berger, Johnny Herbert and Barry Sheene have all taken part over the years.
The event runs until Sunday 15 September.
