A driver's died after a car hit some trees in the New Forest and burst into flames.
It was found around 3.10am this morning in a ditch by the A337 Milford Road, at Everton near Lymington.
On arrival, police found a white Volvo saloon car on fire in a ditch.
It is believed that the car had been travelling from Lymington towards New Milton, when it came off the road and collided with trees and caught fire.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from Totton Roads Policing Unit are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
It is anticipated that the A337 Milford Road will remain closed until the end of today, while crash investigators carry out their work.
Sergeant Glen Barham, from Totton Road's Policing Unit said:
"I am very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have seen a white Volvo using this road in the early hours of today. "I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have any information which could help our investigation."
