Driver Charged After Southampton Crash With Bus

A car driver has been charged with drink-driving after a crash in Southampton also involving another car and a bus.
At around 7.15pm on Saturday 15 March, Hampshire Police were called to a minor road traffic collision on Commercial Road. A blue Renault Clio was involved in a collision with a black Vauxhall Meriva and a single decker bus.
Two people had to be cut free by firefighters and taken to hospital.
The driver of the blue Renault Clio, a 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit.
He has been released on bail to appear at Southampton Magistrates on 4 April 2014.
