Couple Attacked By Masked Intruder

Witnesses are being sought after an incident in St Helens Parade in which a couple returned home to find a masked intruder in their property.

The incident happened between 6.40pm and 6.50pm on Friday [Nov4] when the couple, a man and a woman, opened the front door and found the offender inside wearing a dark coloured boiler suit with a hood, goggles and white disposable mouth/nose dust mask

The offender then tried to attack the couple, who ran out of the address onto South Parade where they alerted a member of the public.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact DC Kristy O'Brien at Fratton CID on 101.
