Police in Portsmouth are appealing for a man to come forward who helped a boy who was hit by a car in Sevenoaks Road, Portsmouth between 6.30 and 6.50am on Saturday, November 19.
A 15-year-old cyclist from Cosham was left with a fractured skull and facial injuries after being knocked down by a car at the junction with Southampton Road.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
Police are keen to trace a good Samaritan who stopped to help, taking the boy to Accident and Emergency at Queen Alexandra Hospital and returning to the scene to collect his bike and take to him at the hospital.
The man didn't leave his contact details, saying he was late for work.
This man may hold vital information about the incident, the boy’s family are also keen to speak to the man and thank him for his help.
Police have released a CCTV image of the man, this man is not a suspect.
