Another Arrest Over Southampton Stabbings

Detectives investigating a multiple stabbing incident in Southampton have made a further arrest.

A 20 year old man from south east London was arrested in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday May 16th, on suspicion of attempted murder and violent disorder.   
 
The man is currently being questioned by officers about an incident in Cranbury Avenue, Southampton, on Tuesday, May 8, which left four people with serious injuries.
 
This latest arrest brings the total number of people arrested to 9.
 
A 17-year-old youth from London, was charged yesterday with causing Grievous Bodily Harm with intent and Violent Disorder. He is due to appear before West Hampshire Remand Court (Southampton Magistrates) today - May 16th
 
A 27-year-old man from London has been bailed, along with five others. Another's been released without charge.
