Assault And Attempted Theft In Gosport

Police are again appealing for witnesses to a suspected assault that followed an attempted car theft from a house in Gosport.

A 19-year old-man came home to find an unknown man in his mother’s car parked on the driveway of the house at Ellachie Gardens, Alverstoke at around 8.45pm on Monday, March 19.  A second man then approached and assaulted the victim. Both suspects then left on pushbikes. 
 
Investigating Officer PC Phillip Hall said: “There would have been people in the area  at the time including those using the nearby cycle path. Were you in the area? Did you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner?” 
 
The offenders are described as:
 
Offender one:
white man,
approx 16 - 19 years old
approx 5'11" 
clean shaven 
wearing a orange striped top with a dark colour in the background and a dark coloured zip up jacket over the top. He had a dark coloured mountain bike with him. 
 
Offender two: 
white man 
approx 6'1" 
slim build. 
wearing a light grey hooded top, blue jeans and grey trainers.
