Arrest Over Laser Pen Shining
A 24-year-old man has been charged following a laser pen incident in Paulsgrove.
Daryl Bush, of Ledbury Road, Portsmouth will appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, September 5.
He has been charged with recklessly or negligently acting in a manner likely to endanger an aircraft or person in an aircraft.
The arrest follows an incident on Friday, August 26, when the South East Air Support Unit (SEASU) helicopter was flying over Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, and a laser pen was shone at it.
One of the three crew members suffered sore eyes as a result.
