A man's been seriously injured in a hit and run near Southampton.
Witnesses are being sought by police after the 44-year-old was seriously injured in a fail to stop collision in Blackfield on Thursday 21 August.
The pedestrian was left with a serious leg injury following the collision on Hampton Lane shortly after midnight. The silver Subaru Impreza that was also involved failed to stop at the scene. It had been travelling southeast on Hampton Lane prior to the collision.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the car driving erratically in the area at just before a quarter past midnight.
A 28-year-old man from Fawley has been arrested in connection with this collision and bailed until 29 September, pending further enquiries.
