Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a supermarket in Southampton.
It happened at Waitrose in Portswood Road, Portswood.
On Wednesday, August 17 just before 5am three men broke in through a back door of Waitrose and then forced open the cigarette kiosk. All the cigarettes were then removed from the kiosk and put into large rubble type bags. The thieves
then ran off.
The stolen cigarettes are believed to be valued around £5,000.
All three men are described as being around 6ft tall and wearing hoodies and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Police are asking for anyone that may have been sold or offered cheap cigarettes or know any information to contact PC Emily Hawksworth at Portswood police station on 101 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
