4 Teens Charged Following Armed Robbery

Detectives have charged four teenagers following an armed robbery at a Southampton newsagents.

It took place at the News, Food and Wine convenience store in Spring Road, Sholing, Southampton, on Thursday, June 30.

The youths, one aged 13, one aged 14, one aged 15 and one aged 16 years, are all from Southampton.

All four have been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery and are due to appear at Southampton Youth Court on Friday, July 8.

A 14-year boy also arrested in connection with the incident remains in police custody.
