£250,000 Metal Theft In Havant

Police are appealing for information following the theft of hundreds of metres of high voltage electrical cable from a factory unit in New Lane, Havant.
The incident took place sometime between Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 12.
The electrical cable was stripped of copper.
The copper stolen is thought to be worth around £250,000.
It is believed access was gained to the building via a rear door and entry was gained to the site by cutting open a wire fence from the railway line.
