Two women held over Castlemilk flat death

Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow.

The body of Haider Hayat, 49, was discovered in a flat in Raithburn Road, Castlemilk, on April 3 after officers were called to a disturbance.

Police Scotland said two women aged 33 had been arrested.

Only one of the women has so far been charged. She is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A 41-year-old man has already been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Hayat's death.
