Three teenagers will go on trial today accused of the murder of a schoolboy found dead in a cemetery.

Jordan Watson, 14, was discovered in a secluded part of the cemetery next to St John the Baptist Church in Carlisle, Cumbria, on June 16 last year.

George Thomson, 18, Brahnn Finley, 19, and Daniel Johnston, also 19, all of Carlisle, are charged with his murder.

A post-mortem examination showed that Jordan, from Ridley Road, Carlisle, died from multiple wounds to the head and neck.

The hearing takes place at Carlisle Crown Court.
