A teenager has died and three other people, including a five-year-old girl, have been hurt in a road crash.
Two cars collided on the B7078 Carlisle Road in South Lanarkshire on Friday.
A 19-year-old man who was a passenger in a Seat Ibiza car died at the scene and the male driver, 25, is in a serious condition at Wishaw General Hospital.
The 55-year-old male driver of the Nissan Micra is said to be in a stable condition at the hospital, while a five-year-old girl in the car is being treated for serious injuries at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash which happened at around 6.15pm, one mile north of the village of Blackwood.
