Teen in hospital after stabbing in Glasgow

A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed in Glasgow.

Police said the teenager was injured during an altercation in the Possil area on Monday afternoon.

He is being treated in hospital following the incident in Saracen Street.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 4.30pm on Monday, a 15-year-old-boy was injured after being stabbed during an altercation on Saracen Street in Glasgow.

"He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Children where medical staff describe his condition as stable.

"Inquiries are continuing."
