Police are treating the death of a man whose body was found in a hospital car park as suspicious.
The discovery was made in bushes within the grounds of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, just off Old Dalkeith Road, at about 2.45pm yesterday.
The man has not yet been identified.
His death was initially treated as unexplained but a spokeswoman for Police Scotland said today that detectives now believe it is suspicious.
``Officers are working to establish the man's identity, and would appeal for anyone with any information to come forward,'' she said. ``The car park has been closed off for the moment to allow inquiries to take place at the scene.
