Remains Found Near Country Estate

Remains have been found near the entrance to a country estate in East Lothian.

Police are investigating after the remains were discovered in an area off the A198 near to the entrance to Gosford House, Longniddry.

A member of the public contacted police after making the discovery at about 6.30pm on Sunday.

A police spokesman said: ''Inquiries are ongoing to establish the origin and nature of these items.''
