Two people are due to appear in court after an estimated £45,000 of heroin was seized from a home.
Police raided the property in Bellfield Court, Musselburgh, East Lothian, on Wednesday after a tip-off and also seized #10,000 in cash.
A 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have been arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act in connection with the incident and they will face Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Chief Inspector Matt Paden, local area commander for East Lothian, said: "Thanks to the vital intelligence gathered from the public by our organised crime and counter terrorism unit colleagues, we were able to recover a substantial quantity of harmful drugs before they could make their way into our communities.
"Tackling drug crime is one of our top priorities for East Lothian and we will continue to utilise all of Police Scotland's specialist resources to bring those responsible for these sort of offences to justice.
"Enforcement activity such as this can only be successful with the help of the public and I would urge anyone with information on drug offences in their area to come forward to police or contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.''
