Illness has forced Mo Farah to pull out of this weekend's Sainsbury's Glasgow Grand Prix.
The double Olympic and world champion was scheduled to run in the men's two-mile race, the final event of the meeting on Saturday.
However, Farah was admitted to hospital in the United States with abdominal pains for a couple of days last week and is undergoing further testing with British Athletics' medical team back home this week.
Farah hopes to be able to return to action in this month's two other high-profile events.
"Sorry to everyone in Scotland but I won't be able to make it there this week,'' he said.
"I hope to resume training in the next few days and aim to run in the London Anniversary Games on July 20 and then the Commonwealth Games the following week.''
