Man in hospital after Paisley flat fire

A man's in hospital after a fire broke out in a block of flats in Paisley's Lawn Street on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at 5.45am where a fire had started in a third floor flat.
 
Three residents had self-evacuated, with fire crews leading another three to safety.
 
One man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital as a precaution. It's unclear if he has any injuries.
 
A police spokesperson says they were asked by fire crews to assist with traffic management.
 
Four fire engines attended the scene where the fire was extinguished and crews remained to make sure the area was safe.
 
The roads around the block of flats were reopened before 9am.
