Man Due In Court Over Alleged Attack

A teenager has been arrested over the alleged attempted murder of a man in a lane.

A 22-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in an attack in a lane between Easterhouse Road and Springcroft Gardens, Baillieston, in the east end of Glasgow at around 3.15am on Saturday. 

He was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. 

A 19-year-old man was arrested today over the incident, police said. 

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal and he is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
