Man Charged With Darren Adie Murder

A 51 year old has been charged with the murder of a man in Fife.

Darren Adie was found unconscious in Tweed Avenue, Kirkcaldy, on Saturday May 28th.

He was taken to Victoria Hospital, where he later died.

Police launched a murder investigation after the results of a post-mortem examination.

Mr Adie's family paid tribute to him in a statement issued through officers earlier this month.

They said: ''Darren was a much-loved son, brother and father who will be sorely missed.''

The 51 year old man is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday.
