A rush-hour crash involving a lorry and at least four cars has closed a city motorway.
The accident happened at about 9am near junction 18 of the M8 motorway near the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow.
Police Scotland said emergency services were working to free two people understood to be trapped in two separate cars.
They said "four or five'' cars were involved in a collision with a lorry on the westbound carriageway.
Traffic is being diverted off the stretch of motorway at junction 17, down Newton Street and back on at junction 19.
