Hundreds Attend Memorial for Mikaeel

Hundreds of people packed a church in Muirhouse in Edinburgh on Saturday evening to remember 3 year old Mikaeel Kumal - whose body is thought to have been found in Kirkcaldy

The service was held in St Andrews Church, close to Mikaeel's home in Ferry Gait Crescent

The packed church holds 300 people, an overflow room for 80 was also full

Candles were lit to remember the toddler, who was reported missing on Thursday morning

400 people volunteered to search for Mikaeel alongside police on Friday, before the body was found just before midnight. That was formally identified as Mikaeel on Saturday

All day people have been leaving flowers and toys at the cordoned off Dunvegan Avenue and outside the family's flat in Ferry Gait Crescent, Edinburgh

On Saturday night police said a 33 year old woman had been charged in connection with Mikaeel's death. She's expected in court on Monday
