A teenager who died in an accident at a gorge has been named as 15-year-old Anthony Quinn.
Emergency services were called to Dollar Glen, in Clackmannanshire, at around 4.10pm yesterday when concerns were raised for Anthony's safety.
It is understood the teenager was with a group of friends at the gorge, which is popular with walkers and features two burns with a number of waterfalls.
Police said the 15-year-old died at the scene and there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
Sergeant Derek McKie, from Police Scotland in Alloa, said: "This is a tragic loss of a young man's life and our sincere condolences are with Anthony's friends and family, who have respectfully requested that they be left to grieve in private at this very sad time.''
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
