Around £125,000 worth of drugs has been seized after police stopped a car in Glasgow.

Officers pulled over the vehicle on Helen Street, Govan, around 6.25pm on Wednesday.

Inside they found drugs, believed to be cannabis, which led to them raiding a house on Canmore Street, Parkhead.

More of the substance was recovered within the property, making a total estimated street value of £125,000.

Two men, aged 49 and 47, have been arrested and charged in connection with the find and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
