Boy, 4, Sexually Assaulted In Clydebank

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 4 year old boy was sexually assaulted in a Clydebank supermarket on Tuesday.

Officers were called to the Asda store in Britannia Way in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, at around 1.55pm on Tuesday following a report of a sexual assault on a young child.

An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing, Strathclyde Police said. Chief Inspector Gail McClymont said: ``We have a number of officers dedicated to the inquiry and, to reassure the public, have put additional officers on patrol in and around that area."
