Arrest Over Glasgow Death

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 43-year-old woman in Glasgow.

Nasreem Buksh was pronounced dead after police were called to a flat in Dixon Avenue, Govanhill, at around 7am on Saturday.

Police Scotland confirmed a 54-year-old man had been arrested and is detained in custody in connection with the incident.

A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
