Wearside Home Targeted In Arson Attack

A man's been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a house in Redhouse.

Fire crews were called to the house on Renfrew Road at 8:42pm last night (Saturday 3rd November)

The fire was quickly put out and no one was hurt.

A 47 year old man's being held for questioning by Northumbria Police.
