Two teenage boys have been bailed in connection with the rape of a 14 year old girl after an incident in Newcastle.
The alleged rape happened on the Kenton Park Sports Centre fields near Bradwell Road on Friday night (17th February) shortly after 8pm.
Police attended and two youths, age 15 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of rape and were subsequently released on police bail.
The girl and the two teenagers were known to each other.
Officers are keen to trace a man seen walking his dog in the area at the time of the offence who may have witnessed the incident.
