Tickets Go On Sale For 1D Sunderland Gig

One Direction fans can get their hands on tickets to see the boys at The Stadium of Light next year from 10am this morning.

One Direction kick off the UK leg of their 'Where We Are' 2014 World Tour on Wearside in June next year.

The Stadium of Light is one of only four UK venues to host the tour - along with Manchester's Ethiad Stadium, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Wembley Stadium, London - and demand for tickets is expected to be unprecedented.

SAFC Commercial Director, Gary Hutchinson, said:
"We have seen unprecedented levels of interest in this show already, which of course is fantastic.

Demand for tickets for the Stadium of Light show, as the only venue between Manchester and Edinburgh, is set to be huge so I'd advise fans to book their tickets promptly so they don't miss out."
