Teen Charged Over Attack On 16 Year Old In North Tyneside

A 17 year old boy's due in court after a teenager was found wandering the streets in North Tyneside beaten and badly burned.

The teenager has been charged with wounding with intent to commit GBH and is due to appear before Bedlington Magistrates Court this morning.

A 13-year-old boy who had also been arrested in connection with the incident has been release on police bail.

It's after police found a 16-year-old boy with injuries walking near to the A189 Annitsford roundabout  in North Tyneside on Saturday, November 15th.

Enquiries are continuing.

Two teenagers have been arrested following an attack on a 16-year-old boy in North Tyneside which left him beaten and badly burned.

Both boys, aged 17 and 13, are helping officers with their enquiries.

He was found with serious injuries wandering near the A189 Annitsford roundabout on Saturday morning.

It's thought he'd been hurt at a house party in the Seaton Deleva area.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information that could help police is asked to contact police on 101.

A young boy's been found wandering the streets in North Tyneside after he was beaten and burned, possibly at a house party.

The 16-year-old boy was found with injuries walking near to the A189 Annitsford roundabout yesterday morning.

He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a fractured cheekbone, facial injures and burns on his body.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish how the boy came about his injuries and officers believe they may have been caused at a party that was held at an address in the Seaton Delaval area on Friday evening, November 14th.
