Teen Dies In Northumberland Cliff Fall

An investigation's underway after a teenager fell from a cliff and died in Berwick.

Emergency services and the lifeboat crew were called out to Spittal Point just after 3 am this morning.

The 16 year old was pulled out of the sea and taken to Wansbeck General Hospital, but couldn't be saved.

Enquires are in the early stages to establish the circumstances.
