Sunderland brothers Jack and Jess Ryan have been sentenced to life in prison for murdering dad of two George Dagg.
25 year old Jess Ryan stabbed the 53-year-old to death outside his Plains Farm home in Sunderland in June.
The knifeman had taken his 22-year-old brother Jack Ryan with him as armed back up.
Judge Paul Sloan QC said the attack on the dad-of-two was "cowardly".
Jess Ryan, of Toronto Road in the city, must serve a minimum of 25 years before he can even apply for parole.
Jack Ryan, of nearby Toronto Square, must serve a minimum of 21 years.
The siblings showed no emotion as they were led away to start their life terms.
