North Tyneside COuple Get Hitched On A Tenner

A North Tyneside couple who were challenged to only spend £10 organising their wedding day have been inundated with freebies from North East companies.

The sister of Alice Flannigan from Wallsend set the challenge - and after posting it on Facebook they've had the venue, dresses and suits donated.

Even the rings for the big day have been donated.

It started as a joke, but Alice's sister Lynn put the challenge on her Facebook page and in just 4 days had donations coming in from across the region.

Alice is marrying her partner of 4 years, Kelsey Courtney, in 10 weeks' time.
