Newcastle Man Charged With Terror Offences

A 32-year-old man from Newcastle upon Tyne has been charged with terrorism offences related to disseminating publications.
Mohammed Abdal Miah was arrested on Monday by Northumbria Police on behalf of the North East Counter Terrorism Unit.
Miah is charged with four offences under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006, dissemination of terrorist publications.
He's appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London and been remanded in custody until next month.
