Metro Attack: Two Men Charged

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was attacked at Wallsend Metro stop.

The victim suffered serious head injuries during the attack at Wallsend Metro station on Sunday night.

He is still in a critical condition in hospital.

A 22-year-old from Northampton and a 21-year-old from Wallsend have been charged with attempted murder.

They're in front of North Tyneside Magistrates' Court later (Tuesday 14th February).
