Man's Jaw Broken In Blyth

A man's had his jaw broken after being attacked in Blyth on New Years' Day.
Northumbria Police has issued an appeal for witnesses after a 22-year-old man sustained a broken jaw in the attack on Cowpen Road.
He was taken to hospital after he was assaulted by two men, who fled in a white van.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack.
They should ring the non-emergency police number 101, ext 69191.
