Man Killed In A1 Crash Named

A man who died when his car crashed into a lorry on the A1 near Fenwick in Northumberland's been identified.

29 year old Kashif Hussain from Fenham was killed in the crash on Tuesday March 20th.

The crash happened at 00:45am when a HGV was travelling south and the car North on the A1. 

The driver of the lorry suffered minor injuries, was treated at hospital and later released. 

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
