Man In Hospital After Newcastle Machete Attack
A man in Newcastle's been left needing hospital treatment after being attacked by a gang armed with machetes.
The 35-year-old victim suffered hand injuries after being attacked by three masked men at a house in the city's Tamworth Road on Monday night.
Northumbria police said a second man in the property was unharmed and nothing was stolen.
A spokesman said up to seven offenders may have been involved, who made off in a black BMW and a black Vauxhall Astra.
