A man's in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being knocked down on the Redheugh Bridge in Newcastle.
The 25-year-old pedestrian was hit on the northbound carriageway of the bridge at around 6pm on Tuesday 14th February.
The car involved was a dark grey BMW 320.
The man was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary to be treated.
The road was closed for 3 hours to allow for police to investigate and recover the car.
