Man Charged With Manslaughter After Party Death

A Hebburn man's been charged with the manslaughter of a man who died from head injuries he got at a house party in South Tyneside
29 year old Gareth Phillips was treated for head injuries at the RVI in Newcastle, but died as a result of his injuries on Monday (9th January)
He'd been admitted to hospital with a head injury believed to have been sustained at a house party on Thames Road in Hebburn, on Saturday night into Sunday morning (7th - 8th Jan).
41 year old Brian Morl of Thames Road in Hebburn has been charged with his manslaughter.
