A man's been charged after a teenager was discovered with serious injuries in Newcastle.
The 19 year old man was found on Springwell Avenue in Byker on Wednesday and taken to the RVI where his condition is described as stable.
Karl Morris aged 28, of Sandy Crescent in Walker has been charged with a section 18 assault, possession of a bladed article and dangerous driving.
He was due to appear before Newcastle Magistrates Court on Friday, June 26.
The three other people arrested at the time, two women aged 29 and 49 and a man aged 32 have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are carrying out enquiries in the area and additional officers are on patrol to reassure the community
