Man Charged With Darlington Murder

A man's been charged with murder after a grandmother was found with stab wounds in her flat in Darlington.

61 year old Pamela Glen, also known as Turner, was found at her flat on Friday (19th October) in Springhill.

She was taken to Middlesbrough's James Cook Memorial Hospital but died later in the early hours of Saturday.

Durham Police said a 61 year old man had been charged with her murder and would appear before Newton Aycliffe magistrates today (22nd October).

Ms Glen was a mother of two and grandmother of six and lived alone at the flat.
