Manchester Man Questioned After Woman's Body Found

A 32-year-old man from Manchester is being questioned by police on suspicion of murder after a womans body was discovered at a house in Lancashire.

Police were called to an address on Riverside in Bamber Bridge at 11.40pm on the 10th April, and found the body of the 51-year-old in the lounge of the house. Her injuries have been described as "significant".

A post-mortem examination into the cause of the woman's death is being carried out.
