Police are appealing for information following the death of a 16-year-old girl in Warrington, who's believed to have taken an illegal drug.
Ellie Jones was at a friend's house when she experienced breathing difficulties.
Paramedics treated her at the scene in Densham Avenue and she was taken to hospital but died shortly before 5am on Saturday.
An initial post-mortem exam didn't reveal how the 16-year-old died.
Police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests.
Three boys, aged 16, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and perverting the course of justice.
Cheshire Police said: ``Three local 16-year-old boys arrested following the death of Warrington teenager Ellie Jones have been bailed until July pending further inquiries.''
Anyone who has any information should contact Warrington Police on the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, information can be left anonymously on the Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
