Firefighters are currently in tackling a blaze at a neon sign shop on Chester Road in Trafford.
Crews were called at around 8.10am this morning to reports of a fire involving a neon sign but when they arrived at the scene it was clear that a signmakers' shop was involved.

Firefighters from Stretford, Hyde and Salford were called to deal with the incident, along with an aerial appliance to allow crews access to the roof space.
The whole of the building was involved in the blaze and firefighters worked hard to prevent it from spreading to neighbouring properties.

Station Manager Mark Fairclough who is at the scene said:
"We have three engines and an aerial appliance at the scene. The fire is surrounded and it's mostly out but we will be dealing with the aftermath for some time."
